Susan's Grands, with her great creations!

We've seen the pincushion before, but WOW!  Susan!!  We need to hear how you made these!!

  1. Howard is always first here.

How did I do it? Well, first I got married and had children, then they grew up, married and had children. And that's how I got my grands.

Seriously. The button and ruler were long-ago purchases. The thimble is made from a plastic popcorn bucket and the spool of thread is a lampshade wrapped in thick yarn with a foamcore top and bottom. Why do I do these strange things? Because it pleases me, and my kids and my grands enjoyed it.

  2. Susan, how altogether lovely and fun!! Boy, when you get a notion. . . .

    1. LOL! Excellent use of the word "notion"!! :-D

  3. Yeah, Susan, I can see it was a lot of work and a lot of fun to make most everything in that photo. ;-)
