  1. Howard's still da one!

I got no ice, but a neighbor's reporting some. Near 60º today. Yay!

    1. They were predicting ice for us yesterday afternoon and evening, but it quickly turned to rain. Current temperature 48.

I should have mentioned that the snow we got in the dark hours of Friday morning officially came to 1.1", so our record-breaking string of days without an inch of snow has ended.

  2. 18.4ºF here today and it's snowing. We have 2" of new snow so far, and it's expected to snow overnight into tomorrow. They said 2-4" total, but now I'm wondering! It's supposed to warm up and become rain later tomorrow and on Wednesday rain with 50ºF.

  3. Orange kitty-kat has died. He appeared healthy on Friday, but was clearly sick Saturday and went rapidly downhill, not eating or drinking. Penny and Marcus took him to the vet this afternoon, but he died before they could really do anything for him.

We think he was around 18, so he had a long and reasonably healthy life and went pretty quickly at the end.

    1. Sorry, Bill. Hard to lose animals we've shared so much of our lives with.

    3. =Bill!= I am so sad for your sudden loss of such a wonderful and elder kitty! =^. .^=

As I think of what you said, I think we could each be grateful for folks to be able to say of us, "S/He had a long and reasonably healthy life and went pretty quickly at the end."

May Orange kitty-kat prowl from strength to strength in the blessed company of the cats in light. ♥
