  2. Anyway, I posted this before attempting to go to bed. It's also at My Left Wing. Not getting any "cookies" or "tip jar" contributions at either place so far. Don't mean to get all "pity party" about it, but as rarely as I can make myself write anything, it's hard not to be a bit bummed.

I'm not sharing the link on Facebook for reasons that become immediately obvious if you look at the essay.

    1. I'm the same age as your dad. And while none of us knows how long we will be around, I'm planning on a good 20 years or so.

    1. I rediscovered that what I hate about shopping for clothing is the horrible music in stores and the incredible assortment of truly ugly garments!

    2. What I hate about shopping - dressing room mirrors! Boy! If those babies don't bring your self-esteem down for the rest of the day, I don't know what will.

    3. Why did I chuckle? Because I DON'T shop for clothing. I let Penny buy all mine. She enjoys it and I get out of something that would be a chore at best. She pretty much knows what I like and if it's not *exactly* what I would have picked out for myself I'm not going to complain.
