    1. Thanks, listener. Not sure I could do it again. Why do they keep changing everything? You know, there was a big article in the paper a while back about one of the Google bigwigs, who is blind, and how committed Google is to accessibility. Well, my Aunt Fanny! This new interface is terribly difficult to manage, and YouTube is so bad fully sighted folks complain about it. I don't understand. Fortunately, I don't often have anything to post on the front page here.

  4. I haven't been able to settle to anything this evening, so have been tinkering with a few songs. Largely pleased with the results. The problem of what to do with them, how to get them out there still remains, but that doesn't trouble me as much as it did. Something will turn up if it's meant to. In the meantime, I enjoy working on them.

  5. Feeling a bit peckish. Think I'll get a snack and go to bed, where I'll sit up for a while reading.

Don't remember if I mentioned it here, but my current library book is a volume of Agatha Christie's short stories. Not a "Complete Stories," that would take a couple of thick volumes, a good selection though. BTW the title is Masterpieces In Miniature. It includes selections from four of her "detectives:" Parker Pine, Harley Quin, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. I put detectives in quotes because Mr. Parker Pine and Mr. Harley Quin are not strictly speaking detectives, and their stories are more often puzzles than mysteries. Still, all very enjoyable.

  6. I wasn't familiar with Chris Isaac, so I checked him out on Amazon.com. Here's an album with samples:

Lots of standards/covers, well done. They really take me back, and it's nice to know that someone is out there doing them still.
