The Wedding Quilt ~ Winter Panel

Top, left are fireworks because they became engaged on New Year's Eve (at the Blue Moon).
There is a Cardinal atop the evergreen tree, both representing the Christmas season.
Note the pair of deer and see if you can find the bunny.
The mountain at the back is Mount Mansfield as seen looking west.

  2. Bill--you're almost surely right about the Vancouver; flights would be to Portland, just across the river.

listener--good dress news! The groom gets to write his own vows?! Well, I hope he got in something about "what's yours is yours, and what's mine is ours." That takes care of a lot of potential problems.

Renee--you're very welcome, and no need to e-mail. If it weren't for you and D, this place wouldn't be here, and I haven't kicked in for a while.

Bunny lower left, near the center of the kind of khaki panel with lighter polka-dots (flowers?). Look for the eye.

  3. P.S.: you have to double-click on the photo of the panel to make it big enough to see the bunny.

  4. Double click on it to see the larger size, then you can zoom in also. It's when you zoom that you'll find the bunny.

  5. LOL, Alan! I don't know what he's going to say but he says it takes three minutes to say it.

  6. Renee gets an A+ in bunny finding!

I'm afraid this isn't the clearest photo, actually.

  7. Okay, dear Bloggers. I'm off to sleep then off to do the flowers and have a wedding and all that!

Just had to pop by and say that this morning, after three shops told me they couldn't press my dress today, I followed the advice of one of the shops and took my dress to the place where the shops all send their stuff to be pressed. I walked in and explained my dilemma and the woman behind the counter said, "Would you like to wait for it?"
"How long will it take?" asked I.
"Oh, ten or fifteen minutes," she replied.
    "I love you!" I exclaimed!

Then I went across the road to a florist and got her some pink mini roses and baby's breath in a little vase to say thanks. She was really pleased.

Okay, off now! And the weather now promises to be PERFECT for the big day...not even a raindrop!

I can see the black dot that I presume is the eye, but even at high zoom I can't make out the bunny shape. This bunny is much shyer than the ones in my neighborhood, who hop casually down the sidewalk in plain sight.

  12. Got my water in, so I can finish cleaning the haze off of the tile. Shingling's not going to happen, but almost everything else is. Kid and his dad arrive around noon to two tomorrow. Life is good.

  13. Just got an email from the kid. He's at his dad's house, and peeps have been robbing cars around there. He can't lock the back of the truck, and he's got supplies for the work this weekend back there, so they're coming now. Should be here around four or five in the morning, yikes!
