  1. Still Pre-Tuesday (or Tuesday Eve?) here, but Howard is firstliest either way.

  3. Breaking News! Rahm Emmanuel expected to leave the White House. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/09/28/breaking-rahm-emanuel-to-leave-wh/?hpt=T1

  4. Contact--dandy movie.

Rahm Emmanuel--like Richard Nixon an intelligent man--who would profit by having his mouth washed out with soap IMO.

  5. Woke to sun, and warm (60ยบ). About an inch and a half all told. Spring still isn't running, or the hose is clogged. River's up a bit. Newly planted grass is greening. Life is good.

  6. Unfortunately Rahm is leaving wreckage of his own design behind. Just as he did with Clinton he's managed to leave the Democrats with a gaping wound (and it's NOT his absence!). If the Republicans regain control of the house it will be directly because of Rahm, just as it was during the mid-term elections of Clinton's presidency.

  7. Hi guys!

Welcome home, Bill. So glad you and Penny had a good time. Sounds like she and I would definitely see eye to eye on the subject of what is and is not edible.

Did y'all see that Pres. Carter has been taken ill?

Hi y'all. Things are quiet here. I am enjoying the peace in my new home after several intense years.

Anyhow, I'm here with a message from Ms. Roadpop, aka Thankful for Ms. Puddle.

Puddle, if you're lurking, Thankful would like you to call her this evening about 11 o'clock. She has been trying to reach you and her computer is kaput so she can't email.

    See y'all soon.

  10. I did see that. Sad to see it. He's a real statesman and true soul.

  12. So did you all see this, yesterday?

UFOs have now been confirmed by military personnel, and announced to the National Press Corps.

  13. Or should that be "there is"?

  14. Lol! There ARE. And yeppers, there are. Alas. And most of 'em vote.

  15. I can sure tell you that at the Library when teens have to sign in for a computer and write down the time they start, they invariably look up at the analog wall clock and ask us what time it is.
And did you know that cursive writing is not taught in schools anymore?

  16. Sure, because the more they dumb the populace down, the easier we/they are to lead around by the nose.

  17. I often wish I lived in the alternate universe. The one where Howard Dean won.

  18. Yeah, and where Al Gore got into office because the Supreme Court was honest.
