This is for tc--I couldn't figure out how to post on her blog; it seems I need to be a member of something or other that I am not. Oh, well--some of us old fogies are out of the loop.
tc:
I think you are wise to make use of the opportunity for personal development. Since the whole idea is to breathe, it occurs to me that you might consider combining controlled breathing with some sort of meditative or recitation practice. You will have someone there to look after you, but if you try it you should have some idea of how to "ground" yourself afterwards. Too brutal a return without grounding is pretty rough, believe me. If you need pointers, I can point you to some.
I am doing OK now as far as anyone can tell, but the radiation caused more collateral damage than chemo and surgery combined. You do well, hear?
A flock of robins is passing through. They always stop to drink from the fresh water that feeds our pond. Also, there are some black berries on the sassafras that they like. My car is a mess. Spring is on the way. It was determined today that we would be heading north the First of May. Uploading more videos to Youtube, but they keep failing--an interview with a 100 year old quilter and some of her creations.
Howard Dean is always FIRST!
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late posting. It comes from having spent the evening sick.
Improving, though!
It's nice to have some company, listener.

Tropical heat wave here: 40º!! A few more days of this and I 'spect I'll have spring water again.
ReplyDeleteThis site is so frustrating. . . .
ReplyDelete45º ~~ heaven!
ReplyDeleteGood weather for---wolverines? [grin]
ReplyDeleteFor here. I'm always astonished that 40º is so cold in October, and so warm in March, lol!
ReplyDeleteDon't know if it's spring our not. Prediction calls for an inch or two of snow tonight and tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOne thing for sure is that it's not yet March, when we often get our heaviest snows.
Thank you, all. You are simply the best. Post rain here equals lovely puffy clouds billowing across a clear blue sky.
ReplyDeleteAlan, I appreciate the suggestion. I would be grateful for some pointing to some pointers. :)
