Just wanted to let you know I've uploaded another video. You can see my channel here: www.youtube.com/cyprespond
The latest, featuring an artist in Florida, aborted five times before it took. Also, since the sound wasn't very good, I've taken advantage of a Youtube facility which lets you replace sound with a musical selection. I think the piano accompaniment goes well with the pictures.
Indeed, good news is good news, whatever comes after. I do hope the snow doesn't impede Ally's family's travel.
Sis and I were talking about it, and we've had a pretty piddly winter snow-wise. I do know that elsewhere in the East it's been very bad, but our part of the Connecticut Valley must be very sheltered. We've only gotten a few inches at a time, and that has usually melted almost immediately. They're hyping this upcoming storm, making it sound like it might rival the Blizzard of '78; and, it may in some places. But if we get six inches of snow I'll be surprised.
Didn't finish The Idiot. Couldn't handle it last night. Instead I started The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress, which I'm enjoying so far.
BTW if anyone has a current e-mail address for TC, please send it to Alan I have his address if anyone needs it. Seems the message he sent her vanished into the ether, which leads me to think the address I passed along is not current.
I miss donna. Hope all is well at the salt mine and lots of people are coming to look at the house this weekend...and one of them makes and offer donna can't refuse (or is that a dangerous thing to suggest regarding someone living in Chicago?)...! ♥
Howard is first.
ReplyDeletelistener, we only got a few inches, hardly enough to notice. Hope you feel better soon.
So, was the thing we were supposed to be looking for in your picture the moon?
Hey, Cat!! Ya, I'm pretty sure it was the moon. But that was the first thing that struck me, lol!

ReplyDeleteGreat news about Ally. It's too soon to break out the champagne, but, I mean, if you win the first game of the World Series you can fieel pretty good.

ReplyDeleteWell, my twenty inches of snow and blizzard have yet to develop, so I think this one may be passing me by. Goody goody.

ReplyDeleteIt's so easy to forget HOW MUCH this little family is going through over and over.
Ally's Mom deserves some kind of medal this week.
Our two feet of snow is down to about 4 inches of snow on the roof now, because of all the rain today!
ReplyDeleteIt's still 41 degrees here RIGHT NOW!!
