Remembering jc

From March 20, 2006

The picture of jc's cats is from the collection of "who we are" response ads to the "latte drinking, sushi eating" attack ads.

Here's one of jc's graphics that was featured on Blog for America, once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away...

And here's another...

I just copied and pasted the links and graphics seen above from last year's birthday thread for jc. I can add newer links--or links I may have forgotten, tomorrow.

Here's a link to the virtual candle page I set up for jc and her family.

  6. Hi Barbara--good to see you.

Kimmy, I dropped you a note back. Most people are in the haloscan comment threads, although it's kinda quiet now. I don't think I have puddle's number anywhere.

I'm going out for a bit. ♥ everyone.

  7. Are the haloscan comment threads different from this space? I'm confused.

  11. Three hours ago I learned of jc's death. Still a lump in the throat. Talent, empathy, compassion, wry wit ... she'll be missed. Damn.

  12. I just learned of jc's death from Teri, our National Nurse.

    I am absolutely devastated.

I know I haven't been around the BFA world in a while, but I hold all of you close in my heart as dear friends, and I just can't imagine that jc is gone.

I'll never forget her designing the "Still in love with Dean" and "Dean Democrat for Kerry" gear back in 2004 in time for us DFA folks in VA to get a ton of posters printed for the day that Dean endorsed Kerry. JC was one of the kindest, most creative, most powerful women I've ever had the joy to know. I will miss her terribly and will be forever grateful for the role she played in my life.
