He’s ending all diversity, equality and inclusion jobs in the government.

  2. Nice day here; no fog, low 35F, predicted high 62F. Skunk odor in the master bath, but the exhaust fan is taking care of that. Looks like the Deep South is getting real cold weather, as predicted; I wonder if the electrical system in Texas will collapse again (or has already).

    1. I glanced across the street on my way to the kitchen, and there is a bit of frost on the roof of our across-the-stret neighbors' garage; so the weather report is a bit off.

Well, they made this possible. I sure as heck didn't.

  6. DoJ says it will prosecute officials who resist Trump’s immigration crackdown
Guardian: The US justice department is ordering federal prosecutors to target state and local officials who resist the administration’s planned mass deportation campaign, marking a dramatic escalation in Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown just days after taking office.

The acting deputy attorney general, Emil Bove, directed prosecutors nationwide, in a document obtained by the Washington Post and the Associated Press, to investigate and potentially bring criminal charges against officials in “sanctuary” jurisdictions for “harboring” undocumented immigrants or withholding immigration information from federal authorities. -- nordy

  8. Today, Bernie held a roundtable conversation with heathcare experts and it's available on his Youtube page. Here is the link along with my comment:

Thank you to my wonderful Senator, Bernie Sanders, for this opportunity for health care experts to weigh in on the dangers of misinformation and poor leadership. As a mother of 5 and grandmother of 8, I implore our Senators to vote NO on the confirmation of RFK, Jr. and ANYONE who traffics in misinformation and refuses to respect the facts. We cannot take our country back to 1900 when 18% of children did not live to age 5.
