In the 2022 federal fiscal year, which ran from October 2021 to September 2022, U.S. Border Patrol agents made about 1,050 apprehensions — but that figure jumped to nearly 19,500 in the 2024 fiscal year, which started in October 2023 and ended in September 2024.
🌟NEWSFLASH!🌟 While visiting with us this evening, VT*Grand got word that she has been accepted, Early Decision, to her first choice college, UVM! She will be just a half hour from us!
She is going to be studying Psychology. Tonight we learned why. Instead of becoming a veterinarian (her previous plan), she wants to work with humans and horses to help the humans understand how best to work with their horses to train them, based on any traumas they and/or their horses have experienced...! She has long term plans of running clinics and possibly a training school.
