    1. Well, seeing as he recently lost his job and, if memory serves, his apartment, that's probably a good thing. He'll have a roof over his head and three meals a day, and that's bound to be a relief.

World news out of Vermont; Bernie has to step aside at least for a while: UVM confers Doctorate in Litter-ature on campus cat [Click] The editors made one mistake; they refer to Max’s human as his “owner.” Dogs have owners; cats have staff members. This is recognized in the law; owners of dogs are responsible for their misdeeds, but not so cats.

    1. Pretty sweet. Only...Vermont State University is not the University of Vermont. It's the former Castleton State combined with Johnson State and Vermont College. UVM is far more ivy league ish.

  6. Stay tuned for the BIG news out of Vermont on Monday! I am reasonably certain that Howard Dean is going to announce that he is running in the gubernatorial race. I mean, why would he call a news conference to say that he has decided NOT to run?
