Per The Guardian, Donald Trump appeals $454m ruling in New York civil fraud case. “The former president’s lawyers filed a notice of appeal on Monday . . .” No mention of posting the required bond, but his legal eagles have demonstrated their ignorance of NY law more than once before. —Alan
Unsurprisingly, I'm into the second book of the Riverworld series, The Fabulous Riverboat. The characters aren't that attractive and the premise is already somewhat tired, but you know me - a book has to be absolutely dreadful for me to give up on it entirely. And this book isn't really all that bad.
Cooter has been posting on puddle's Facebook page the last few days and FB didn't add it to my feed. But tonight I went looking and found this:
"Mom was ok on Friday as far as pain goes. Still sleeping almost all the time and very little strength to move her own body. Today, the xray diagnosed signs of bronchitis. She coughing up stuff too. More back pain. Can’t find a comfortable position."
Tonight he added: "Mom was feeling more comfortable this evening, but mostly sleepy the whole, time."
