Journal of the American Medical Association article: Excess Deaths From COVID-19 and Other Causes, March-July 2020 [Click] It appears that excess deaths were about 50% more than attributed to or officially associated with Covid-19. I would say that means that the US has had well more than 300,000 deaths due to the pandemic.
