OOPSY! I missed a day and more. Sorry about that!

  1. My goodness! I don't think I've ever missed a WHOLE DAY and more when posting here! I am chagrined.

    I guess you could say that the Yellow Jacket took all my focus.

    Today the yard work injured Wil. (Yard work is dangerous!) He was using the push mower and walked under a low, sharp branch of our Apple tree. When I first saw his head I thought we were headed to the ER for stitches. It looked like a very wide gash on the top of his head. But it was actually a long 1/4" wide scrape and not bleeding much.

    Then I was weeding below the bird feeder and what did I find? One area was overgrown with Belladonna! Yikes! A deathly poison plant right outside our back porch door with alluring berries! "Ingesting just two to four berries from deadly nightshade can kill a child. Ten to 20 berries can kill an adult."

    Our back yard is trying to kill us!

  2. At least you haven't [yet!] been troubled with Mosquitobees. [Click]

    1. I had my heart in my throat...
      🤣

      =Whew!=

      Trust me, Yellow Jacket stings that begin as radiating sharp needles and morf into itchy hard lumps worse than Deer Fly bites are about the same thing as Mosquitobees!

      I did see some Hummingbird Moths today, though!
