A new USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll finds Democrats leading Republicans in the generic congressional ballot by a stunning 17-points, 57% to 40% among likely voters.
“That’s a notable increase in Democratic support from the previous week, when the poll found Democrats with a 13-point advantage. The increase, which stemmed from small shifts among several groups of voters, may partly reflect timing. The final two days of the poll coincided with the arrest on Friday of a Florida man on charges of sending explosive devices to prominent Democrats and critics of President Trump, and the killing on Saturday of 11 people at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.”

Zephyr Teachout and Nick Juliusberger are the delighted parents of a baby boy, a little over 8lbs, born at 6:14pm on Saturday the 27th. He was a full two weeks late "and right on time." The photo Zephyr posted is gorgeous! What a beautiful child and SUCH EYES!! No name mentioned yet.
How had I forgotten that more than any other non-white race, white nationalists hate Jews? 🙁 As I listened to a former white nationalist (wn), explain the many subtle ways that wn’s push their views, I saw very clearly how very much our President espouses those views clearly and repeatedly. Please listen to the Fresh Air segment.
Today I called my local synagogues to offer a word of support. They were so warmly grateful. And I learned that there will be a local vigil for all people who care, tomorrow at 5:30pm.
