Basically the opinion piece is saying that we are in good shape to fight Cheetolini because 1) We are not confused (we know how bad he is) 2)we are not demoralized 3)we are not fragmented 4)we are not alone 5) we will not be blamed when do-do hits the fan.

    1. We are not demoralized? We are not fragmented? Well, I'm glad he's not.

    2. Cat, if you're not able to get out much you may be feeling demoralized, but I've been to two protests and I can tell you we have plenty of company to fight at our sides. Being in the midst of a crowd of 3,000 or so a couple of times really does away with the feeling of being alone. And we are united in our fight against Cheetolini. Every meeting I've been to twice as many people show up as they expected. We are together and we are not giving up. I don't count on any of the politicians, but we the people have them seriously outnumbered and the awareness of that is growing by the day. Take heart. We are not going away, and we are getting stronger.

    3. And remember that local DFA meet-up I told you about? Note twice as many, but seven times as many as expected. Local office-holders as well as people newly inspired to run for office. And people at their very first political meeting ever.
A newspaper article I saw today commented that this looks an awful lot like the early days of the Tea Party 8 years ago. Why should we be less successful than they. I'm betting more successful sooner.

    1. This is so true, Susan! In the field of Psychology it is understood that when a person is in a double-bind situation (when you're damned if you do AND damned if you don't) the only healthy responses are Fight or Flight. I think that lately most of us wake up each day wondering which will be prevalent today. Ha!
