Did Donald Trump Just Hand the Senate to Elizabeth Warren? [Click] I was just re-reading this article, and again I was struck by how impressed establishment politicians and MSM pundits are by Warren’s fund-raising prowess: “It’s no secret that Warren is now the go-to banker for Democrats in need of campaign cash.” But it’s chump change compared to what Bernie has shown he can raise, for “his” campaign and for others. Which could point the direction for the campaign post-convention and post-election, no matter how those turn out. I greatly doubt I am the only one to whom this has occurred.
I got a fund-raising letter under Elizabeth's name. I told them no. I said I support Elizabeth but not the Democratic Party because you are not Democratic. And after 50 years I'm leaving the party. I don't like the way they use Progressives to raise money when they know good and well they're not going to do anything at all to upset the status quo.
By the way, the Hillary supporters have a boatload of nerve talking about the rudeness of the "BernieBros". The Hillary supporters I've dueled with on Facebook are vicious as poisonous snakes, rude past the point of human decency and spewing out lies about Bernie (he's a Communist, he's a secret millionaire, he has multiple homes, he's giving the money he raises to his relatives). They're like cult members.
Not being a participant in Facebook, I can't say much about that; but the anti-democratic shenanigans of the DNC, and now the Nevada Dem establishment (evidently encouraged by Barbara Boxer, my US senator) have changed my opinion of the "Democratic Party" from disappointment to frank disgust. They are every bit as corrupt as Tammany Hall.
