    1. I have seen two interviews in which people detailed the misconduct of the chair in NV. One was Nina Turner and forgot the name of the other woman. The Chair did things like insist would-be Bernie delegates had to present their request in writing with 20 co-signers and when they presented those papers she refused to accept them. She called for voice votes even though they had been voted down and on other voice votes even though the Nays were clearly loudest she'd bang her gavel down and shout "The ayes have it." And then to top all that they put out those horrible lies about Bernie supporters getting violent. They called in cops, turned out all the lights when the Bernie supporters refused to leave and then the cops were taking pizza away from Bernie supporters who had ordered it in. The behavior and the lies were way past shameful and actually worse than anything I've ever heard reported about Republicans. They cheat and lie and these are the kinds of people Howard Dean supports.

    2. Thanks, Susan. I definitely appreciated Nina Turner's take on it, and saw the clip about the Chair claiming the ayes had it when the nays clearly did. She didn't get very detailed, as this article did, so I was hoping for more detail. What you wrote helps.

Here's an article that also speaks volumes.

    3. Barbara Boxer was fanning the flames too. She's mother-in-law to Hillary's brother and she had no reason to be in NV other than to incite anger. She stood at the podium and loudly declared "Hillary is the nominee" which, of course, resulted in Bernie Sanders' supporters booing loudly. Then when she left she was making a big show of blowing kisses to them with both hands - throwing gasoline on the fire, as it were. Then she went on T.V. and said she "feared for her life". Horrible, horrible woman.

  3. And now, off to open the Library with a newbie I haven't yet met. Wish me luck and say a little prayer that my hand and brain don't fail me!

  6. To follow up on what I said about incumbents: I am thinking particularly of my own Congressman. He has mostly not spoken out on issues except a handful that particularly affect his mostly African-American constituency. But I think he could be persuaded to be more visibly progressive, especially on economic issues, if it were presented to him properly as part of a broad national initiative.

Besides, I don't think he could be defeated anyway.
