  2. Hi, it's me, listener. Youngest fixed my email account, but now, for some reason, my Google account is messed up. I sent him a note and I'm hoping he can fix it Monday evening. Heh. Otherwise I won't be able to update the HEP blog! So silly!!

  3. Whoo hoo! I'm back and I figured it out myself! We'll see if it sticks.

  4. Good for you listener. I expect Apple TV should do the job for you. Very tired from the weekend, will post more tomorrow or at the latest Tuesday. Now to bed.

    1. Oh, Alan, the son who is buying this for my birthday kind of wanted to try the Roku 3, so I went with that. He says if I'd rather have the AppleTV version later on, he'll take the Roku and get me the Apple. Our iPhones, being 4S, wouldn't mesh with AppleTV anyway. And while I have a Mac, my husband has a PC. But it's good to know there's another option and Apple is about to come out with a new TV anyway.

  5. Alan, I tried to respond to your email, but it went to your spam folder. This is because, while you can still write to me at my old address and I receive it just fine, my responses come from a different address your server won't recognise. Just so you know, it begins with my first name. Yes, that's me! :-)

  6. My PT has been extended through September, for a total of seven weeks instead of four. This is good, since it means I'm continuing to make progress.

Continuing with The Cave Girl. Did I mention that the boy who becomes the hero is named Waldo Emerson Smith-Jones? Yes, he's a Boston Brahman, a ninety-eight pound weakling and a consumptive to boot. Living the, ahem, outdoors life makes a man of him physically and the love of a good woman does the same morally. You've gotta love ERB.

  7. I don't know how this will read if you're not familiar with Boston or baseball. But I guess one idear to help might be to listen to James Taylor's tune Angels of Fenway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K1qZi6Z0e4

"A Tampa Rays fan, a Boston Red Sox fan and a New York Yankees fan are climbing up a mountain and arguing about who loves their team the most. The Rays fan insists that he is the most loyal and yells, "This is for Tampa!!" and jumps off the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Red Sox fan shouts, "This is for Boston!" and pushes the Yankees fan off the mountain."

I am not a fan of baseball or violence, but having been born in Boston, that joke made me laugh heartily. I recognise that fervor. Time to watch Fever Pitch again? LOL!
