Sleepy Wednesday

  1. Hmmm, no word from Cat here or on Facebook. Hoping all is well.

Cat, when you have a moment, be sure to look back at the last thread. ♥

  2. Blue sky here today. I think we got somewhere between 3" & 4" of new snow. No big deal at all. Mostly everyone else in my family got between 2 & 3 feet of snow, so I almost feel like a slacker. Ha!

  3. If any of you get MSNBC, Howard Dean will be on Last Word tonight!

  4. We had just a little bit of rain out here...they say that high pressure ridge has settled in off the coast again, and that pushes the rainstorms we would normally get back East. Maybe the Keystone XL pipeline could be rerouted to deliver snow from back East to the Sierra Nevada?

Not sure, but I feel rather like a virus is coming on. Could just be an attack of sloth. If the former I will give my germs a rest tomorrow, I suppose.

    1. Take care, Alan. I'm coughing and sipping hot honey-lemon. Rest all you can.

That is so great about the rain!! I hope you get more soon!

    2. Doesn't seem like the flu or anything like that now--probably just overtime catching up with me. But I have TWO weekends off in a row. Nice. Also nice-- the tremendous improvement in range of motion and decrease in pain from those simple exercises I found on YouTube. Once I work through the very slightly sore muscles from the current augmentation of my routine (somewhat more than double what it was a week ago), it will be time to commence rebuilding my lower-body strength, and that is where the T'ai Chi should come in, I think. No deep knee bends, despite the temptation. Easy does it.

  5. Sooooo, today I got word that my last official day at the Library will be Tuesday, February 10th! I was supposed to work the 12th too, but got the sub who does Tuesdays to do Thursdays instead. She will work the 5th and 12th, so tomorrow is my last Thursday! "And there was great rejoicing!!" Thursdays have always been the hardest, because I work the whole time with the difficult head clerk. I can almost taste the freedom now!
