Easter Thursday

  1. Howard is first on this lovely Spring day.

One lone daffodil is blooming, though no doubt more will join it tomorrow. Besides the white magnolia, the star magnolia has also come into bloom and the Bartlett pairs are out, one more fully than the other. All most satisfactory!

  2. Brief comments on the last thread.

Anybody heard from Bill? He said he'd see us Tuesday.

  3. We're up to two crocuses and three snowdrops. The deer came by and chomped off our one lone tulip, which hadn't even budded yet. The daffodils will be in their glory in another week or two. Everything is about 2-4 weeks late!

  4. Finally beginning to almost get caught up. Still need to go through and sort e-mail that came in while I was gone, to Make sure I haven't missed anything important. But getting some work done is more urgent.

Trip was tiring but very enjoyable. Minicon was a small convention -- less than 500 people -- but everybody was exceptionally friendly. And both food and beer were free!

While I was gone Penny developed an infected tooth. It has already had root canal and crown, so it was pulled today. She'll get an implant once things have healed.
