Fairy House #4

  1. Howard's still first. Renee's got tummy butterflies. Applied for seasonal work at Target and am playing phone tag to get an interview set up. Waiting for the call back now, so trying to stay near the phone.

  2. Hey hey hey! In addition to the last three seasons for The Waltons, I got:

"Upstairs Downstairs - The Complete Series Megaset"

    Special Features

All 68 episodes on 20 DVDs, digitally remastered and presented in their original production order
Includes shows not aired during the original broadcast
Includes the hour-long retrospective Upstairs Downstairs Remembered: The 25th Anniversary Special

*THAT* ought to hold me for a couple of years, lol!

    1. Wow! That sounds great! I'll have to look into getting that. Or, maybe mention it to Santa. *grin*

    2. Update: Checked with Sis, and she did buy it. We just haven't started watching it yet. Still working our way through Murder She Wrote.

  3. Very cute house, listener. I can practically see the fairy who lives there.

Angel has been having a quiet day, mostly sleeping on Mum's bed. She ate or rather drank a little earlier in the day. But around teatime Dad made a concoction of tuna and the new Adult Cat 11+ that has helped Vivie regain her alertness and interest. He said Angel drank all the liquid and ate up most of the solids. This is most encouraging!

Another lovely afternoon here, sunny and pleasantly cool. We've been having a beautiful October. I suppose November will also be true to form, cold, misty or rainy and dreary. But I certainly can't complain about October.

    1. Thanks, Catreona! Since the season of green growing things and lovely flowers is drawing to a close, tonight VT*Grand and I bought some silk flowers to spruce up the Fairy Houses before Winter's onslaught begins. She picked out a different colour for each of the houses! LOL! So they are quite beautiful now, though we had to scurry to finish before utter darkness, so photos must need wait.

  4. Thanks for all the good luck messages. My interview is tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Demetrius is working on a modeling/animation project, which, true to form, involves working through the night. Son actually has been doing calculus homework all day. Usually he seems to get his work done in the blink of an eye. Maybe it's midterm time or something.

I drove Perkins to a dog park and he had lots of fun running and romping with other young dogs. Now he's spending some time in his crate so that he doesn't bother Son who is hard at work. I lifted Winnie up onto the couch next to me. I know that the second I get up, she will get off the couch as well, so I guess I'd better just chill with her for a while for now.

  5. All good luck and blessings for your interview, Renee! It might be a nice change to do some retail work for awhile. You can always people-watch and write down your observations from a psychological perspective. Hopefully the job includes an employee discount. Fingers, toes and prayers crossed! ♥

  6. Nice entertainment haul, puddle!

If you ever need another title to snag, go for the British TV series As Time Goes By starring Judi Dench!

  7. Oh, I do love Judi Dench's voice. I have re-watched "The Most Exotic Marigold Hotel" times without number. A stellar cast.
