HOT Air Balloon!

The crew is wearing red.
The other folks told us they took the ride to celebrate a birthday and their Anniversary.  :-)

    1. Wait! This is backwards. They *lose* donations because they reveal that that lousy, rotten SOB only pretended to help? All may become clear once I've read the article, but on the face of it that makes no sense. Wouldn't donations increase if it was revealed someone did them wrong?

    2. Alan, now I understand the situation. Ryan's unwanted and unauthorized photo op has lost the Society donations because it made the Society look like it was favoring one candidate over the other. What a lousy, using, selfish son of a bitch! And with Winter coming and the soup kitchen's services needed more than ever.

  4. puddle...just incase you can't get the video to load on dialup, here's a link to an artivle about the interview. (Though I feel this article paints it as contentious, which IMHO it wasn't.) http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/10/19/obama-to-jon-stewart-congress-needs-to-rein-in-the-presidency/

    1. And what was on the pizza?

      We had pizza tonight.
      Sweetie's half was Extra Cheese.
My half was Green Peppers, Spinach, Tomatoes and Pineapple.

      Delicious!

    2. Thanks for asking! Yes, it arrived about midnight. And was excellent when it did. Apparently Marc had tried to use buckwheat to make a a 100% gluten-free dough. Tasted good despite the failure to rise. And the topping was outstanding. Seasoned with fresh garden herbs, including lots of sage. May be the best topping I've every had.

And went well with the pumpkin beer.

    3. Both of those pizzas sound scrumptious! Pumpkin beer, not so much.

    4. Pumpkin beer is actually rather good. For a change at least. I don't know what role pumpkins may play in its manufacture, but there's just a modest bit of pumpkin flavor.
