  2. Well, did it with only a couple of acetaminophen. Yay!! Woke a couple of times with hurting hips, but just adjusted position and back to sleep.

Pretty morning! Blue skies, a veil of frost, little pink puffy clouds drifting. Rest of week to be warmish.

Remember, Chinese New Year's is always the beginning of *Spring Festival* ~~ the words are good to the heart!

  3. Glad to hear it, puddle.

January thaw ensuing here...a momentary ease.

  4. Funny Goobey! Been trying for hours to get him off the porch so he could be hooked to the run (which gives him a whole new world to explore). I don't try on coldest days, as if he's on the run, he's got no shelter. He just danged well refused to come down! So now he's in for his afternoon snack and nap. There does seem to be a certain bit of non-puppy calm about him now, from time to time. Ah.

Got my cell phone reactivated today. I sort of knew when I signed up for the pay-as-you-go plan that the minutes I was buying would expire in 90 days, but it didn't really penetrate that it was strictly up to me to track that 90 days and renew my subscription before they expired. Unfortunately by the time I realized that the time was up the deadline had passed and my phone was dead. So I had to take it down town, to where I got it, to have it reactivated. But that's done and I have a reminder on my computer to renew in 89 days.

Is worrying about that -- not that it was honestly anything to worry about -- part of the reason I haven't slept in lately? Suddenly I am very tired. May turn in very early tonight.

  8. So, Alan, are you reading it now? How is it? I've been wanting to have a look.
