Hot, mulled cider

*jc* made this design!
Now it makes me think of
the Occupy Movement!

So...something to MULL seemed appropriate!

  1. I remain very happy that I could support Gov. Dean's campaign for the Presidency of the United States.

Relaxing day here, my right leg is getting much better with massage (which I think I can now delegate to the electric massage table/bed). The muscles started tightening up maybe a week to two weeks ago, and fool that I was I hoped it would get better. It didn't. But it's much better now.

cat--to check on your eBay bids, go to eBay, log in, go to "My eBay" and "purchase history."

Saw the new Muppet movie today with Naomi; it was pretty good. We figure to see the Tin Tin movie come Xmas.

I have set to work on the last Darkover novel I plan to read, namely "Sharra's Exile." I figure a change of pace will be in order before starting on Zenna Henderson's "People" stories. Probably "Now You're One of Us" by Asa Nonami.

  2. Goodness! It's good to hear that your leg is improving. What caused the muscles to tighten up?

Thanks for the note on the new Muppet movie, Alan! We're thinking of going to it, too.
How does it compare to the others?

  3. Cat, go to the item, and find "bids" click, and it'll show you when you bid on it. Maybe it will coincide with your being distracted, or not feeling well. . . .

  4. BTW, that's happened to me. But usually when I've gotten *too* busy, lol! Or sometimes, I'll make a bid and regret it almost immediately, and spend the rest of the auction *praying* to be outbid. . . .

  5. Gray, dreary day here with intermittant rain. Even with temps in the mid-50s, I'm glad I have no reason to go out.

  6. Wanted to say that I, too, am happy to have had the opportunity to support Gov. Dean's campaign. First time I'd ever had tthe opportunity to be politically active beyond contributing.

  7. That was yesterday here. And will be tomorrow if the predictions are right. But today? Warm with some sun (son, lol!), and a lotta work is getting done. Even by me!

I finshed the staining on the porch, which is good, 'cause this is likely the last day till spring it could be done. Cleared the tools off of the wall outside the kitchen so it can finally be insulated ~~ that's been the tool wall for fifteen years; don't know where I'm going to put it all. A tool wall is a very useful thang, indeed.

  8. Good work!!

After the Tool Wall is insulated, can some plywood go up that you can hang the tools back onto?

    I want a Tool Wall!

  9. Tool walls are wonderful! But alas, that room is planned/destined to become a room to live in. Think I'm going to look into transferring the Tool Wall into the back/storage/pantry space in the bathroom.

  10. The main thing is that you'll still have a place for every tool and know where to find it!

  11. It seems a little slow starting, but it has all the classic elements. I wouldn't dare to rank them, but it was enjoyable.

As for my leg, it probably derives from inadequate exercise leading to contraction of the muscles. In other words, sloth.
