The Wedding Quilt ~ Spring Panel

The Mountain at the back is Vermont's Camel's Hump
The balloon represents the Bride's birthday season, and is shown in her favourite colour.
The three white trees represent the three Shad trees planted at our house last Spring,
and in the foreground is a garden.
Note the female Cardinal in a Shad tree. Her nest is over in the Cherry tree.
While I like the waterfall and rainbow, my favourite item on the whole quilt is
the Flying Goose ~ a symbol for the Holy Spirit, to bless them along their way.

They're married and it was absolutely glorious. Their vows were so beautiful and deep and wonderful. My Son has never before written something so meaningful and poetic and worthy. We were all quite moved.

Gotta sleep. We go back in the morning for the cleanup. More when I can.
Thanks for all your kind thoughts, prayers and posts! ♥♥

  2. Ah. listener, just wonderful! So glad. For you and for them.

Nancy, up road neighbor who has a rain gauge says we got 1.6 inches of very badly needed rain since last night. Whew!

Get the tub installed this afternoon! Yay yay yay!!!

  6. Boyz just left. A wonderful, productive, moderate weekend with lotsa rain, but lots of clear, too: perfect working weather. Good food, good company. Don't think I could ask for too much more.

  7. Just passing by--a moderately challenging Friday night/Saturday morning and a very challenging Saturday night/Sunday morning at the hospital. Tuckered out. A little homework to prepare for a short consulting job tomorrow and then to bed. I'm really glad the wedding went off so well, listener--that is really, truly wonderful.
