  2. Beautiful cool green day. Cloudy, rain earlier (lots of it) and maybe later. Haven't yet reached seventy!! Love it!!!!!

  3. Chinese friend gave me four lychee (lichi). Had to do an online search to figure out how to peel and eat them. Haven't eaten them yet. Her brother brought them back from China, I think she said. Wish I could speak some Chinese, but the "intonation gives different meanings" thing scares me. Well, plus I don't know what dialect she speaks, Mandarin, Cantonese, etc.....

  4. Thank you is XieXie (sounds like shedshed without the d's) and no problem: nothing else in Chinese sounds at all like that, lol! And you lucky dog!! The shells break off pretty easily, and the pit is gorgeous. I think it's the best tasting fruit in the whole world, flavor is very subtle and grows on you. Four should be enough to totally addict you. . . .

    ENJOY!!!

  5. Thanks, puddle. I hope I *don't* get addicted! My understanding is that they're a little hard to get.

I'm taking the two local grandkids to a "Balloon Animal Making" class tomorrow. It's right next door to the water park, but I *really* don't want to take them to the water park tomorrow! Think I'll try to evade that by giving each of them money and taking them to the toy department at K-Mart, which is also nearby.
