On Wednesday we got the Annual Report from Manomet Conservation Sciences, where Shiloh worked for 17 years. They dedicated the report to him with a wonderfully presented "centerfold" of photos of him and a beautiful tribute. If I could change just one thing about life and death, I'd want us to be able to "touch base" with our loved ones monthly. As it is, I've had two dreams with Shiloh in them in the past month. None prior. Maybe my brain is trying to find him. Mama misses her boy.
Also on Wednesday, I got quite a surprise at the dentist. Went in to have my temporary crown replaced with a permanent crown. It took a little over an hour, but turned out well. Went to check out and pay the other half of the $2000, and they said I didn't owe anything more after all...!! I'd saved $400-500 because they didn't need to "build up" my tooth last time. And somehow I had a nearly $400 credit from overpaying previously ... because they can't charge me more than my insurance company allows. So I'm all set!! I mean, when do you ever go to the dentist and come out $1000 richer than you expected to?!!
Notes on the last thread. ❤️
