"Voters headed to the polls in a Saginaw Bay-area district to replace Democratic Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet, who resigned from the state Senate after she was elected to Congress in 2024. The race was seen as being a test of voters’ attitudes in the battleground state. Kamala Harris carried this district by less than 1 percentage."
The result: The Democrat, Chedrick Greene 89.5% The Republican, Jason Tunney 39.4% The Independent, Ali Sledz 1.7%
It wouldn't be okay. Plotting to kill anyone is never okay. It would, though, have shown some degree of discression.(sp?) 1. Using your work computer for things other than work strikes me as dishonest and foolish - a good way, if you get caught, to be fired. 2. Using your work computer to research for your assassination plot strikes me as reckless in the extreme. You're just begging to be not only fired but also caught, arrested, tried and, possibly, convicted. This is the sort of thing that one does, if at all, in private. I mean, I don't understand why anyone would behave with such disregard for commonsense. What I immediately thought was, either the employee wanted to be caught, or it's a frame and a scam. On the other hand, the Correspondents' Dinner intruder turned out to be for real, so who knows? Maybe we're seeing the degree of desperation and hatred Trump engenders.
Cat, I was chuckling because of how it sounded when I read the title. It takes all kinds to make a world. Just wish we didn't allow all kinds to run the country.
Saw two doctors today. The testosterone suppression shot was two months overdue but Dr. Leyland didn't seem too concerned. Looking for results of the PSA test in the next day or two. Vision test in connection with retinal specialist visit showed slight loss in acuity. I can no longer quite read the second line on the eye chart.

Ha! NBC typo.
DeleteThey must have mixed up the numbers for Greene on the screen readout.
58.9 not 89.5 LOL!
Still, a very nice win!!
My take: If the allegations are true, someone with such poor judgment probably shouldn't be working for the FAA.
