Here’s a little birthday present from the Supreme Court, Susan!
NYT: In a major setback for DT’s economic agenda, USSC ruled that he could not invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 to set tariffs on imports.
Another little gift for Susan today, this time from the UK. PM Starmer has blocked a request from DT to allow US to use their airspace in any pre-emptive strike against Iran, saying it could break international law.
From Susan: I want to eat *all the roses on that cake*. It makes me so happy when the Supreme Court and other countries tell the temper-tantruming mango Mussolini NO. Because I know he hates that and it might bring on another stroke.
GREAT to see you pop by, W.A.! π (We get kind of skittish around here, having had several in hospital this year, and losing several beloved members in the past coupel years.)
ππ SUSAN IS FIRST!! ✨π✨
ReplyDeleteWell, if that beautiful cake doesn't make her day, nothing will.
DeleteHappy Birthday, Susan!
Lots of posts on the last thread. It was a good community day here! Loved it.
ReplyDeleteTo clarify: I left a bunch of new posts on the last thread, late last night.

Excellent, though surprising. If Blair was Bush's poodle, Starmer is Trump's spaniel. I guess even lapdogs bite sometimes.
