Enroute home we saw a very bright meteor! Nice moment on the Solstice Day (Solstice was at 10:03am today)! Then we got into Vermont and it was snowing part way up the interstate. Not too bad, though.
It was a sweet but bittersweet gathering in Maine...everyone sorely missing Shiloh. So good to be together. Then Eldest had to leave a few hours early, to come back to Vermont, when it became apparent that their seven year old dog needed to be euthanised due to a tumor on her spine causing too much pain. So sad.
