There's been some noise in the past week about the absence of DT. Apparently he was out of view and silent for a few days and people began to hope. But then he was spotted again. Something seems odd, though, as he is seldom silent. I wonder when we'll know the real story.

Memphis, Tenn., after all, has long been one of the most dangerous cities in the country, with a murder rate about twice as high as the nation’s capital, according to FBI statistics. Nashville, Tenn., has a higher rate of violent crime than Washington as well. The same questions could be asked of other Republican governors including Greg Abbott in Texas, Mike DeWine in Ohio and Mike Kehoe in Missouri, since cities under their purview all have higher rates of violent crime than the nation’s capital. Just saw the results of my sleep study. Turns out I have severe central sleep apnea but only mild obstructive sleep apnea. As best I understand, CPAP isn't used to treat central apnea.
I have received some material from the Republican Party, which wants to turn Ronald Reagan's ranch into some sort of shrine to the Gipper. I have gotten this sort of material before from some Repos who assume I am one of them. The big draw is a calendar, with Reagan staring into the distance on the cover and appearing on every month. I am invited to contribute at least $25 and as much as $1,000 to make the ranch a right-wing utopia where young conservatives can be trained. I will not tell these people that I am not a Republican. Much better to let them waste time, energy and money on me. -- nordy

DeletePeople think of our brains as central (central nervous system). If the sleeping brain doesn't tell the muscles to breath, that's central sleep apnea.
