    1. Thank you! Worked great. I actually slept about 6 hours last night...sitting up the whole time, at the hotel, but I'll take it. Home now and hoping to do okay tonight too.

Got home safely from MA and NH! Enroute home we saw there'd been an accident in the passing lane, with first responders arriving. Turned out someone hit a bear! You can't see a bear crossing the road at night. Their fur does not reflect light.

  4. Finally got my long-overdue haircut, then went a block further to get my COVID shot. Since I was not drissed rather then in my "retirement uniform" (pajamas), I went out for sushi in the evening.

  5. Went to Boston to see the Van Gogh exhibit at the Boston Museum of Fine Art. It was amazing! Yet the Monet paintings were what I loved most. His painting of Rouen Cathedral was done with three dimensionally thick paint that made it look like stone! And the LIGHT in some. Whooo!!

Today we went to the Plymouth MA Public Library for a first look at the exhibit of Shiloh's wildlife photography. He chose the photographs last February. A member of Manomet Conservations Sciences was there and gave me a big hug. She had worked with Shiloh and told us how they all still speak of him every day.

Then it was on to NH for the Birthday Party!!

    1. Our four kids had the party for my 70th birthday coming up. But I asked that it not be just for me so it was for all the September birthdays in our little family (there are 5!). So they got us each a cake!! Ha! Mine was an ice cream cake. Yum! The kids gifted me a Sugar Maple tree which will be planted in our yard (and include some of Shiloh's ashes). Shiloh was known for tapping all the Sugar Maples in his neighbourhood each year and making maple syrup for all the households!

    2. Sounds like a great birthday party. I find myself surprisingly envious.
