On a completely unrelated matter (if one does not believe in auguries), it will be two weeks before we get our monthly brokerage account statements, but I'm pretty sure our Tesla stock holdings are maintaining their value just fine. I remember chatting with our bond broker a couple of years ago about Tesla being rather interesting in ways, but we agreed it was too risky to invest in. -----Alan
Republicans in Congress are feeling the heat of the anger of their constituents. So they are meeting with Musk to implore him to bring the cuts he wants through the legislative process. You know…do it legally and not just ignore the Constitution for a change. It is highly likely that, purely in a partisan vote, all or most cuts can make it through Congress. But at least then there would be a record of how each member of Congress voted.
What is fear but desire? If you fear something bad that means you desire something good. Desiring good is holy and holy desire is Love. If Love is at the bottom of your fear then what is there to be afraid of?
