As I was waking up this morning, I was day-dreaming about the victim impact statements in Trump's Jan. 6th trial. I was also reflecting that an insanity defense should not work, because of the clear evidence that he knew he was doing something criminal. Also that the federal prison system probably does not offer makeup artists for their "guests." Guess I'm a terrible guy. -----Alan
Glenn Kirschner disposed of the insanity defense some weeks ago. As I understand it, the defendant must show an inability to distinguish right from wrong, and that inability obtained at the time of the crime. Such clearly does not apply to bon Schitzenpantz.

It is a general principle in both print and electronic media that they do not pay for news. Of course, that assumes that an interview with Melania had any news value. -- nordy
