  1. Beautiful weather this morning (Tuesday), then the clouds thickened and we had just a trace of rain. Several days without rain allegedly coming.

We’ll have 10 degrees warmer today than yesterday, and warmer yet tomorrow. In fact, it our low will be warmer than our recent highs. 40-44°F for a high this week. Allegedly 54°F one day next week. This is like late March or early April.

(Don’t know how the word “it” jumped in there.)

    3. The "it" is obviously a bonus word inserted by a computer. [grin]

    4. At Capricon ,the first weekend in February, I remarked to a friend that I thought the coldest part of winter was past. He didn't think so. Since then, there have only been two days when the temperature didn't get above freezing. today's prerdicted high is 64F.

  2. So, I had a pretty good day. It began with visiting a new dentist, who actually listened to me and was perfectly fine repairing my chipped tooth instead of just rounding it off. The last three dentists I've requested this from refused...because I don't have a perfect bite...even though the chip wasn't bite related. But my new dentist is great! She listens and is cheerful and, best of all, she's skilled! She repaired the tooth so well that it fit perfectly with no adjustments needed at all. That's the first time that has ever happened for me.

And! While in the dentist chair, just before she entered the room, I saw an email telling me that we got a dock slip at our marina for the coming season!! It's the same marina our boat is at through Winter. We're very excited as it means we just walk out to our boat, and don't need to use the dinghy. Plus we'll have shore power. This will all be especially nice when family visits!

Got more flooring down in the livingroom, too. We're halfway across the room now. Yay! Tomorrow we travel to meet Daughter and two grands at the Christa McAuliffe Plaentarium in NH, so a day off from renovating. Then back to it.
