The longest foliage season for reds!

  1. Dad saw the surgeon today
. Despite the favorable lab reports, he saw two red places inside the bladder that he would ordinarily say were cancer. He gave Dad a choice of having a biopsy now or coming back in three months. Dad chose to come back in three months.
The surgeon gave Dad a one month supply of samples of a medication that should reduce urine production and, thereby, help him sleep through the night. He is understandably eager to start that med.
Please continue your prayers, good vibes, etc.

    1. Good vibes ensuing. And I would love to sleep through the night. But I'm not sure decreasing urine production is the way for me to go. No doc has suggested it.

    2. Thanks, Bill!

That does seem to be Dad's main problem, though he also complains of being woken by drymouth.

    3. For reasons unknown, I have had markedly less of that problem in recent years. It can certainly be a nuisance.

  2. Wow, just saw KiKi in a fight with a Fairy Diddle (flying squirrel), more worst luck. We thought we had gotten rid of the little chits. My first name for this place was "The Fairy Diddle Mystery House." The name seems to be shared by several species of red squirrels and a couple of small gray ones. They ones I've eye-balled have all been gray, not red. They are incredibly destructive, chewing their way though attics and walls.

They have even chewed holes in wood floors. Grateful to KiKi for her fine performance!
