    1. When will people learn that if you are uncomfortable with someone's gender or sexual orientation choice, it just means your own choice would be different. Own yours and let them own theirs.

    1. They aren't doing battle in God's behalf...it's in behalf of that idol god they have created in their own likeness.

  4. Quote of the Day
June 21, 2023 By Taegan Goddard

“I was invited shortly before the event, and I was asked whether I would like to fly there in a seat that, as far as I am aware, would have otherwise been vacant.”
    — Justice Samuel Alito, writing in the Wall Street Journal, defending taking a flight on the private jet of a Republican billionaire donor.

    1. What was the vote? This is nuts.

    2. I looked it up.

Washington — The House voted to censure Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff for his role in congressional investigations of former President Donald Trump, making him the 25th House lawmaker to face the punishment in U.S. history. The measure passed along party lines by a vote of 213 to 209. Six Republicans voted present.

Hurrah for the 6 relatively sane Republicans.

  8. Thank you for holding down the fort today, Alan. I was in the garden all day, ahead of the hot weather. Need to get out there early tomorrow, too, to finish up. Then it can be as hot and humid as it needs to.

  9. As usual, PhD*Son is in Alaska for the month of June. This time he's so remote there's no wifi and they only have a Satellite phone for emergencies. However, he happened to be somewhere with service on the one day his daughter was graduating from Middle School. So he got to be present for part of the ceremony and they could even see him. So cool.
