  1. Trump Speaks At Length During Debate In Indecipherable Code Of Far-Right Fever Swamps [Click]

“For a fact checker, you’re kind of sitting there with Biden. Occasionally you’re like oh that’s wrong. With Trump you’re like the ‘I Love Lucy’ episode in the chocolate factory. You don’t know which one to pick up because there’s just so much.”
    — Debate fact checker Daniel Dale, on CNN.

  3. More on MConnell’s bruises [Click] I hadn’t seen the full photo, showing his mouth, before. That’s more concerning. As is the report that such bruising was not in evidence recently; I was sure I had seen it before.

    1. Do you think he has been in a fist-fight? More seriously, the article mentions blood thinners. That includes low-dose aspirin, recommended for people with high blood pressure. I took low-dose aspirin for well over a decade before my doctor decided that at my age I didn't need it any more.

    2. I just don't know what to think--the backs of the hands would be consistent with damage from excessive exposure to the sun in his youth, but his lips???? A special sort of discussion with his wife crossed my mind, but I strongly doubt that.

As for this year, Trump Sees Reason for Hope in Voter Signups [Click] This article, originally from Bloomberg, ignores “decline to state” registrations, which could be substantial.

  6. What we know and don’t know, so far, about Hunter Biden’s laptop. Starting from the hypothesis that the laptop was planted by Russian agents and had nothing to do with Hunter Biden, I find it significant that they left if with a shop owner who was too visually impaired to recognize Hunter Biden by sight and who was a Trump supporter. But that's a hypothesis.

    1. Yes, because when I need a laptop repaired I ALWAYS travel to the opposite coast to get it done.

    1. I've been needing a LOT of sleep for a couple of years now. It's not just Covid-19. I'm inclined to blame age.
