OHIO: As of Wednesday afternoon, there have been at least 110,881 confirmed or probable cases in the state, 3,907 deaths, and 12,529 hospitalizations, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
I don't know if it is a mistake or not, but the news stories I have seen talk about a Social Security tax of 12.4% on income [or wages?] above $400,000 per year. I haven't seen any mention of what happens between the current maximum (130-something thousand dollars per year) and $400,000.
2020 Election: What Democrats Told Older Voters at the AARP Forums July 23rd, 2019 [Click] “Klobuchar, Harris, Biden and Buttigieg would take a “donut hole” approach; Klobuchar, Harris and Buttigieg wouldn’t tax earnings between $133,000 and $250,000, but would levy the payroll tax on earnings over $250,000. Biden’s donut hole would close at $400,000.” I don’t see the point of that, but maybe it’s a matter of going fishing where the fish are.
I don't know what time President Obama is speaking tonight, but from the little bit of his speech that has leaked it looks like he's going to give trump a serious bitch slap.

Melania flatly refuses to go on the campaign trail for trump. She will speak at the Convention but no more. I'm not surprised because I'd guess the very last thing she wants is four more years to be stuck with trump.
Credit card update: You may recall that a week ago I mentioned that the credit card that had expired at the end of July had been mailed for arrival the next day. When it hadn't come today I called back. Turns out it was actually mailed mid-June as usual---a replacement will be in the mail tomorrow. I don't know what the first guy was thinking. Can't shake the suspicion that he was deliberately lying so HE wouldn't have to arrange for the replacement to be mailed.
I suppose he thinks he can just veto every item of business before the Security Council if they do not bend to his will. But as memory serves me, things can be diverted through the General Assembly in case of need.

I didn't watch the video, but the other day another case was reported of him attempting to hold her hand in public and her refusing.
