  3. OK, I think I have the link right now:

It’s George Wallace’s World Now [Click] “Wallace never won the presidency, but the base he mobilized has found a home in today’s Republican Party.”

  4. Biden’s Invisible Campaign Is Working [Click] “…the less media he receives, the better it is for his electoral prospects.” That sounds like “the less people know about him, the better they like him.” Such enthusiasm.

    1. The more people know about Trump, the less they like him. The implication is that people -- not just Susan -- will be voting against Trump rather than for Biden. And that's fine with me.

    2. Ah, if only we could vote against someone... but in the US system we can only vote for someone.

  8. Elder Grandson turned 7 today!

We got to drive over to their house and have a curbside visit, watch him open his gift ~ which was wrapped over a week ago and was sitting on our back seat for awhile. Others drove on by, too, and it was really a fun way to celebrate, especially as he got a new bike and (being on a Harry Potter kick) called it his “Nimbus 2020.”

It was LOVELY to see our sweeties again!! I am champing at the bit to hug them! But we are abiding by the rules.

    1. I like Nimbus 2020. But, good Lord, did that book really come out twenty years ago?

  9. Like Susan, I have read it is not really necessary to wipe down groceries. Still, an access of caution is bound to be better than a dearth.

  10. “If you’re getting money from the federal government as part of the recent stimulus response to the coronavirus, you’ll also get a letter from President Trump explaining why, CNN reports. “The one-page letter arrives in an envelope from the IRS as part of the Treasury Department, with both postage and fees paid for by the IRS.”

I guess we have enough time to figure out what to do with it.

    1. Too bad I won't be getting one. I would certainly have no trouble thinking of a use for it.
