  1. Are China's Tantrums Signs of Strength or Weakness? [Click] This depth of diplomatic reflection is clearly beyond the capacity of the Trump administration.

Hmmmm….. It just occurred to me that Trump relies for guidance upon his gut, and the resultant decisions often miscarry. Is the problem that he carries a defective microbiome? Really, with the stuff he eats, how could he have a healthy microbiome?

  2. Three items from The Guardian on the debate:

Elizabeth Warren dominated the night. And Bernie Sanders proved he's still got it [Click] “The debate revolved around Warren, who was masterful. Yet those who hope to see Sanders’ campaign flounder are not going to get their wish”

Elizabeth Warren was attacked from all sides in debate – and she barely batted an eye [Click] “Warren weathered attacks from opponents with patience, grace and an agility in her rhetoric that rivals that of a gymnast on a balance beam”

But, as with so much else, President Trump has squandered that durable advantage.”

    1. Of course, she was kicked out by DT because she refuted his claim of wire-tapping by Obama.

The only concern may be that she's now on the board of Netflix. Could that be a problem? I think we need to liberate her from corporate America and get her back into serving the country.
