Highland Center for the Arts
This amazing facility houses a theatre, gallery, classrooms and restaurant.
It is in the middle of nowhere, built by a longtime Summer visitor to a nearby lake.
This was his 14 million dollar thank you.
About one year old, it is already drawing large audiences.

Facebook has removed several ads placed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign that called for the breakup of Facebook and other tech giants, Politico reports.
Which would seem to be an argument for defining Facebook as a common carrier.

DeleteHow come these particular nine were given a microphone? Why not Bernie or some of the others? Will there be a second round of this?
DeleteThe implication was that these were the nine who chose to attend this particular event. And no, SXSW is almost over. it won't happen again until a year from now.
