  2. Thousands without power in Los Angeles after high demand due to heat wave [Click] Here in the Central Valley temperatures are a little above average for this time of year, but not bad. We participate in a tiered energy pricing plan, with higher prices from 4PM to 9PM weekdays during the summer, and even higher 2PM to 7 PM on specific weekdays (e.g. today) up to 15 days per year, as needed. The smoke from a forest fire near Yosemite has been noticeable for a couple of days, and since yesterday there has been a slight smell of woodsmoke.

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump… swear to God.”

    — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), quoted by the Washington Post in a private recording, speaking to a group of GOP lawmakers a month before Donald Trump clinched the GOP presidential nomination.

Speaker Paul Ryan quickly interjected: “This is an off-the-record… no leaks, alright? This is how we know we’re a real family here.”

Sounds good to me.
