puddle, any word on whether she has insurance? Would it even cover this??? What are her options?

Please tell her I know an Episcopal priest on the big island, if that might help at all.

  2. Insurance pretty routinely excuses itself from acts of god. . . .

They seem to be coping wonderfully well, given what's happened.

From personal experience, it's gonna be years before they take this all in.

    1. And years before they recover enough of what they've lost.

Any chance the State will help them out?

  3. Hi guys!

Have been sick for several days, and still don't feel one hundred percent but am at least feeling vaguely human again.

  4. Mizzen and Spinnaker had an excellent checkup at the Vet today! Both are super healthy, from teeth to weight to lungs!! Pretty amazing given their rough beginning 6 years ago. They were glad to get home from their vet visit today. We were glad too, as they are very vocal back seat drivers!

  5. Saw this as a featured post:

Today, Melania Trump announced her new agenda, focused on children's health and well being.

Also today, DT asked Congress to cut $7 billion from the Children's Health Insurance Program."

    Seriously.

    1. Not at all surprising, but a nice little cabin in the Adirondacks ought to be sounding pretty good to her about now...
