It's Mueller Time!


Two words:  GRAND JURY.  
It produces a warm glow in one's chest, doesn't it?

      Schwartzenegger is also matching contributions to the movement to end gerrymandering, which will oppose the Supreme Court appeal of the federal court ruling that partisan gerrymandering is unconstitutional.

    Okay, back from eye doctor, so an update and then I nap! He said I had had a hazy area on my eye that didn't seem to affect my vision. He said the good news is that, with the use of the eye drops, it's now gone and the bad news is that it was definitely caused by shingles. So I have to continue the eye drops for another month, though only once per day instead of twice and I'll see him again Sept. 8. On the scary side he says I'm getting close to needing cataract surgery which scares the bejeebers out of me.

      The good news is definitely good!

      As for cataract surgery: My friend Linda had that a couple of years ago. She reported that not only was the surgery and recovery *not* scary, but she noticed that everything was clear and brighter. Colors were brighter; it was like the whole world was newly washed. And she said it had a positive effect on her outlook, er, attitude. All this was particularly good because she had been apprehensive. Of course everybody's different, but Linda is a very intelligent and sensible lady, down-to-earth. I would trust her opinion and her experience.

      My mother also had cataract surgery. Very simple ouitpatient procedure. I'd like to have cataract surgery, but with my retinal scarring it's not clear it would really help.

    With luck, the kiddle arrives later wit' the grands in tow. Truth told, I'm exhausted already, lol! They're camping out, so hope the predicted rain doesn't materialize.
