It's not over 'til it's over.

  1. News note from politicalwire.com:

“White men narrowly backed Hillary Clinton in her 2008 race for president, but they are resisting her candidacy this time around in major battleground states, rattling some Democrats about her general-election strategy,” the New York Times reports.

“While Mrs. Clinton swept the five major primaries on Tuesday, she lost white men in all of them, and by double-digit margins in Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio, exit polls showed — a sharp turnabout from 2008, when she won double-digit victories among white male voters in all three states.”

"Vote Tool of Wall Street" might not be a very catchy campaign slogan.

  4. Every year I get confused. Is Puddle's birthday March 18 or September 18? If it's today, Happy Birthday, Puddle!

    1. Half birthday, lol! There was a long discussion on the old blog as we awaited Howard's announcement about what he was going to do about us. . . . We blogged all night, and the subject came up--birthdays and half birthdays. . . .

  5. Advice for HRC and DT on how to beat the other in the general election. [Click] If I were the praying type, I would be praying for Bernie vs. Kasich, but there is no setting aside the Law of Karma, and things seem to be careering toward some obscure and likely momentous happening. I’d guess it will take another few years to work itself out.

  6. I have not been getting enough sleep, so am a bit down; take that into consideration.

A tripartite bumper sticker design has burbled up like swamp gas from my subconscious. First bumper sticker with background of US flags, fireworks etc. reads:

    Vote!
    Tool of Wall Street, or
    Fool of Wall Street?
    Your Choice!

Second bumper sticker, plain white background with black lettering:

    My choice:

Third: Bumper sticker for your candidate of choice.

  7. I won't put a negative bumper sticker on my car. In fact, I have no stickers on it at all. But I'm considering an oval Bernie window decal. As a Vermonter, I might see about:

Don't blame me, I've been voting for Bernie Sanders for decades!

    1. A variation of that would work for me:

      Don't Blame Me
      I Voted For
      Bernie Sanders

    2. Yes, that's in good taste, listener; I've never had a negative bumper sticker either. Feeling tired. I generally have a bumper sticker on my car because mid-sized gray sedans are very common; it helps to spit it in a parking lot. If the bumper sticker is unusual, so much the better!

    1. It's been awhile since I clicked on jc's name out front and looked through jc's designs. Among the photos that jc posted is one of Denise at the first Deanfest ~ a photo that I took! Wow. So many faces and memories and I'm aching for those who have gone on ahead of us. I sure hope they're putting in a good word for us, because we need all the help we can get. We are not alone on this quest.
