Mmmmm, Pumpkin Pie! What's your favourite?

On Wednesday, I will be making Cherry Pies, a Pumpkin Pie and probably an Apple Pie as well.

  1. Dean is my favorite.

Oh, you were asking about pie. I guess pecan pie is my favorite when I can get it. Key Lime is good, too.

    1. It only got to 31F here, which is the first day all season that it stayed below 40F. As we usually get to this point by early November, we are having a very warm season indeed.

  3. I prefer Cherry pie and Apple is nice. Mah*Sweetie loves Pumpkin Pie. Turns out I need to make a pie my DIL loves (after all she is cooking the meal!), but which I would never associate with Thanksgiving: Chocolate Cream Pie! Ha!

  4. We visited loved ones over the weekend, down near Boston. It was about 10F warmer down there, so we were walking around with our coats open, while our loved ones were all bundled up, including ear muffs, to go from the car to the restaurant! I still giggle every time I think about it. :-D

    1. Do you top your sweet potato pie with marshmallows? That's what we did back home in Arkansas.

    2. No, just whipped cream. But I can see the marshmallows. . . .

  6. puddle, what's different about the recipe? Is it just using sweet potato instead of pumpkin, or are the spices different?

    1. Smoother texture, yes?

I could never put marshmallow on a pie (wayyyy too sweet for me). I can barely stand whipped cream on pie. Truth be told, I like a little pie with my ice cream. LOL!

  9. MUCH smoother! Plus, over the years, I used more sweet potatoes, so got a very high pie, lol!
