  1. That flag looks easily big enough for a frigate or maybe even a light cruiser! Cruisin' with Dean...

  2. Hmmm.....I am probably dating myself. It occurs to me that nowadays the distinction between a frigate and a light cruiser is largely one of armament, not size. I still think of naval vessels with big guns rather than missiles...

P.S.: I searched for "Social Credit" on Amazon, and found books relating it to Catholicism (and Liberation Theology, if my memory serves me well). The originator was Irish, which might be a related factor. But I will have to look into it sometime.

  3. Whoo! I'm beat! I spent 9 hours at the Sailing School painting a new compass design onto the porch deck there. It took two hours to sketch my design, from geometrics to the centerpiece of a sailboat sailing in the bay (Malletts Bay, where the School is), and another 7 hours of painting…and it's about 80% done. Tomorrow I will go back and finish painting, then add a layer of sealant. It was a real challenge to work there what with all the comings and goings and people talking to me and watching and one guy even doing repairs on the porch at one point! What I learned about myself that I didn't previously know is that I am able to focus down deep and be more or less oblivious to the distractions. I would never have predicted that.

  4. Sounds like a big job, listener!

Synopsis of Social Credit [Click] OK, this is interesting; maybe not the answer to life, the universe and everything, but some tinges worth considering.
